Energy Consultations Hub

Each year governments, regulatory bodies and other organisations host dozens of energy-related inquiries and consultations to ensure decisionmaking is supported by a wide range of insights. This page aims to increase engagement with these deliberative processes by providing a single, accessible point from which they can be accessed.

The list includes consultation processes convened by a range of organisations, including Federal and State governments, the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO), the Australian Energy Regulator (AER), and the Australian Energy Market Commission (AEMC). The curated list is intended to include consultation processes of industry- and society-wide signifiance rather than every ongoing process.

Through this page and other initiatives, the Gas & Energy Transition Research Centre aims to improve stakeholder engagement in the energy sector and thereby improve governance and decisionmaking.
