Biography

Professor Stephen Kelemen is a respected natural gas industry expert who has worked in a variety of technical and leadership roles during a career spanning more than 40 years. 

A keyachievement in Professor Kelemen's career is the leading of Santos' coal seam gas (CSG) team (followed by their 'Unconventional Resources Growth' team) from its creation in 2004 and during the following decade when the nascent CSG industry was established in Queensland and the company evolved into one of Australia's largest CSG producers. 

Professor Kelemen continues to apply his extensive expertise in natural gas as a Non-executive Director at Elixir Energy and Advent Energy, as well as the Deputy Chair at the Queensland Exploration Council.
